Let me help you win your race
What is coaching? Coaching is a co-created experience between the coach and the coachee to uncover their purpose, accelerate their development, and close the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. Coaching is a process where we create a safe place to ask powerful questions and create strategies to get to the goal. It is forward looking and future focused. We work together from the outside in and the inside out, using a reflective yet pragmatic approach with often thrilling results.
Coaching engagements typically span 3-6 months of bi-monthly sessions. It often starts with an interview with the manager and other stakeholders, an assessment, reading assignments, possibly some homework. Usually there is a mid-point progress meeting with HR or the manager and a final meeting to reflect on learning and celebrate success. Of course all sessions are confidential.
Group and team coaching are another of our offerings, particularly when there is a significant stretch assignment ahead, a new leader, or a perceived lack of teamwork. We meet as a team, articulate the team’s purpose, explore the strengths everyone brings to leverage and work on development areas to make the team more effective in meeting its goals.
Too many times, LD programs amount to a download from a “sage on the stage” sharing their hard-won wisdom. We take a facilitative approach, acting more as “the guide on the side.” Our programs are highly interactive, with much of the content shared via pre-session readings or webinars so we can use class time for discussion and exercises. We also include assessments, peer coaching, lots of small break out sessions to drive home the learning and sometimes a final project or presentation.
Our off the shelf programs may be customized for a given audience or company. Virtual programs are typically 90 minutes of seat time and meet weekly for 3-6 sessions depending on subject and desired outcomes. Residential programs vary from 1 to 3 days.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Let’s get aligned on our definitions.
Diversity is what makes each of us unique. It is a fact; even with identical twins we have diversity.
Equity is providing levels of support depending on needs, to achieve greater fairness of outcomes; equity is a means to an end, a strategy.
Inclusion is intentional behavior that aims to recognize, honor, and include the unique skills, talents, and perspective that an individual brings.
Appreciation is being grateful for the skills, talents, and perspective an individual brings.
Our workshops use appreciation of our differences and how the diverse skills, talents and perspectives people contribute builds a more innovative workplace that attracts the best talent, who in turn bring more value to customers. Research shows that well-managed, heterogeneous teams outperform homogeneous teams in creativity, innovation, retention and financial results. Our programs give your leaders an appreciation of diversity, equity, and inclusion and set them up to be a member of those well managed teams and reap the rewards. The most common comment from our workshop, ” I was dreading coming to this but it was great! I learned so much about myself and others.”
